Would you be willing to take 10 minutes out of your busy life to save the Jewish people?
As the situation grows more acute in Israel and
around the world, a call has been issued calling for the daily recitation of Tehillim (Psalms) by every Jew, of every background and affiliation. Specifically, Jews are urged to devote at least fifteen minutes a day to this form of prayer
and to recite Psalms 20, 83,121,130 and 142 during that time.
In order to facilitate these meaningful prayers ArtScroll/ Mesorah is providing a special edition of the recommended Psalms in Hebrew and English, excerpted from the new Schottenstein Edition Interlinear Psalms for

The power of a community reciting Tehillim together
is immense. In times of trouble, the first defense of the Jewish people is to say selected Psalms together, or to divide the Book of Psalms amongst a community so that the whole Book is recited.
How to say Psalms
The most powerful way to say Psalms is out loud, or by at least moving your lips. If you read them silently they remain
in the realm of thought. We want them to affect the world of action which is the world we live in. Before reciting them, ask G-d in your own words to have mercy on the people of Israel and Jews around the world. You do not have to be Jewish to pray on behalf of the Jewish people. The righteous of all nations are part of our redemption.
What are Psalms?
"Tehillim" or "praises" is the Hebrew name of
Psalms. It refers both to the content and purpose of this
book. King David gives expression to the whole range of
human emotion and thought as it relates to G-d through
his book of Psalms. Through poetry and song, King David
expresses the praise of the soul for G-d in all situations,
both pleasant and difficult.
Much of Jewish liturgy, music and poetry is based on Psalms. They form a central part of the Jewish prayerbook (Siddur) and were sung by the Levites in the Holy Temple. King David's Psalms are a pure expression of Divine Light
as expressed in Holy speech and are used to purify the world and the Jewish people. They are one of the most powerful weapons of the Jewish people. When we recite them, we
create a straight connection to the Almighty for our prayers and deepest desires for good to ascend.
Today, the Jewish people recite the whole book of Tehillim to infuse each new month with blessing, to ask G-d
to grant a refuah shelaima (complete healing) to those who are gravely ill, to help the souls of the departed to ascend, and to bless those who are in a difficult situation with
success.
